This Instructor-Led Training (ILT) package demonstrates my skills in curriculum development, visual design, and assessment creation. I developed the full scope of materials required for a compliant Bloodborne Pathogens course, including a slide deck, final exam, and comprehensive guides for both the instructor and the participant. My design choices were informed by my personal experience facilitating this training, ensuring the flow is logical and the content is accessible. The result is a standardized program that facilitates immediate learning and verifies knowledge retention
This presentation works hand-in-hand with the Instructor Guide to ensure a smooth delivery. I collaborated with Subject Matter Experts to verify that the training aligned with current safety regulations. It follows the established learning objectives and presentation notes step-by-step to keep the session on track.
I designed this guide to be a complete roadmap for the facilitator. It outlines the specific learning outcomes, required materials, and detailed presentation notes. The goal was to remove the guesswork, allowing the instructor to focus on facilitating an effective and engaging session.
This guide moves away from passive listening by giving learners a specific task. I used a fill-in-the-blank structure to ensure participants identify and record the most critical information. This approach not only keeps the group focused but provides them with a completed reference tool they can keep after the training.Â
To close out the training, I designed this multiple-choice exam. It ensures that the learning outcomes outlined in the Instructor Guide were actually met. The questions focus on practical application, knowing what to do and when to do it, rather than just memorizing definitions.
